Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

Intense Pulsed Light is also known as photorejuvenation. IPL technology is a non-invasive treatment used to treat the visible signs of aging. IPL can be used to diminish slight skin surface imperfections such as large pore size, fine wrinkles and elastic skin changes. IPL improves the appearance of facial redness caused by superficial capillaries and most brown pigments including sun-induced freckles and melasma. With a series of treatments, IPL can improve overall skin texture, tone and clarity giving the skin a more youthful, healthy appearance.

Medical Microdermabrasion

Medical Microdermabrasion is a simple procedure that provides effective exfoliation and rejuvenation of the skin. It is a non-surgical exfoliating procedure for revitalizing the skin. It helps diminish fine lines and reduces the appearance of superficial skin damage from aging and the sun. It also helps problematic skin by cleaning out clogged pores.   Microdermabrasion requires no recuperation time and is safe to use on all skin tones and types.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal uses laser or light (thermal) technology that targets pigment in the follicle of unwanted hair. Laser Hair Removal is the best treatment for permanent hair reduction. It is less time consuming and less painful than waxing or electrolysis. All skin types can be treated for hair removal, but deeply tanned skin is not recommended. Ethnic skin types are safely treatable.

Botox Cosmetic Onabotulinum Toxin A

Botox is a formulation of botulinum toxin type A. More than 100 years of research have expanded our knowledge of the botulinum toxin type A. Botox has been used for the past 11 years for treating over reactive muscles with over 1 million patients worldwide.

Botox treatment is a painless procedure that improves the appearance of facial wrinkles and expression lines. A few injections of Botox relaxes the active muscles whose repetitive contractions cause the skin to crease. Once the muscles are relaxed, the skin becomes smoother, creating a natural, relaxed appearance.

The Botox injection will start to work within seven days. The results will last 3-6 months depending upon your individual results.  Our skin care staff perform all procedures and will determine your course of treatment.

Restylane

Restylane is a safe and natural cosmetic filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, especially around the nose and lips.

Restylane was  the first  cosmetic filler that is made of non-animal based hyaluronic acid. It is a natural substance that already exists in the human body so there is no allergic reaction to Restylane. Restylane usually lasts 6 months.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a cosmetic dermal filler that stimulates the body to produce its own natural collagen to restore fullness and smooth out the signs of aging. Radiesse is made of Calcium Hydroxylapatite which provides immediate results and instantly corrects facial wrinkles. It is used to fill facial lines and wrinkles and restores facial volume. Results last up to one year.

Juvederm

Juvederm is a safe and natural cosmetic filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, especially around the nose and lips. Juvaderm is a dermal filler that is made of non-animal based hyaluronic acid. It is a natural substance that already exists in the human body so there is no allergic reaction to Juvederm. Juvederm can last up to one year.

Visia Digital Skin Analysis

VISIA™ Digital Skin Analysis is an exciting technological innovation that uses a multi-spectral imaging system to identify problem areas of your complexion, allowing for a customized skin treatment program that specifically targets these areas.

The VISIA Digital Skin Analysis is the first diagnostic tool to provide clinical measurement of surface and subsurface epidermal irregularities and pigment conditions. VISIA’s photographic technology captures a clear, multi-dimensional image of select facial areas, while examining the severity of various age-related conditions such as:

• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Hyperpigmentation (age/dark spots)
• Enlarged pores
• Skin tone evenness (color variation)
• Porphyrins (evidence of bacterial growth)
• Sun damage (UV spots)

At The Skin Care Center, we recommend that a Digital Skin Analysis be performed during your initial one-on-one Skin Evaluation, as the results of the analysis provide the framework for creating a personalized facial rejuvenation programs that are designed to obtain optimal improvement in your skin color and texture. In some cases, an additional analysis may be performed following a recommended treatment program. Once your VISIA imaging session is complete, our medical esthetician will provide you a detailed complexion report that focuses on specific problem areas, compares your results with others your age, and includes treatment recommendations specifically for your complexion.

Skin Peels

Customized at each treatment, our peels have clinically researched formulations that help reduce the depth of surface lines, smooth rough skin texture, treat skin discoloration and redness, and assist in clearing acne/blemished skin.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is  the Skin Care Center’s non-traumatic method of skin rejuvenation. Dermaplaning removes the outer most layers of dead skin cells leaving the skin immediately smooth, supple, and vibrant.  An added bonus from the treatment is the temporary removal of fine vellus facial hair.

Make-Up

We offer Glominerals Make-Up to our clients. Glominerals is a make-up system uniquely formulated for skin care professionals. Glominerals is a clinically advanced mineral make-up that provides good coverage and helps correct and protect the skin.
