About Us

The Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center started by Dr. Glenn Goldstein, as a solo practice, in 1987 offering the highest quality dermatologic services in the Kansas City area. Ours was the first practice to offer full-time Mohs Micrographic Surgery for the treatment of high risk skin cancers. It is now recognized as one of the top treatment centers in the country. We were subsequently awarded one of the few certified fellowship training programs in the country for Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

Due to the increasing need for dermatologic services in the Kansas City area, we expanded our practice,
adding additional board certified dermatologists to provide complete dermatologic services for patients from infants to mature adults. As the leader in dermatology, we subsequently built the most advanced skin treatment center in the United States under one roof. It has been certified by Medicare and AAAHC as a certified outpatient surgery center. At our facility in Leawood, Kansas, we have the most state of the art complex facility, and the largest dermatologic group in the Midwest. Some of our physicians also hold teaching positions at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Our facility allows us to treat patients in the areas of general dermatology, skin cancer and cosmetic skin procedures. We do the latest treatments in laser skin treatment and are recognized as a national training center by the largest laser company in the world. Physicians from all over the United States come to our center to learn the most current laser treatments and laser safety from our faculty.

We offer satellite offices in Lee's Summit and Belton, Missouri to provide easier access for our patients.
